SUMMARY:4VALOR Year-End Black Bear Wilderness Hike
DESCRIPTION:All are invited: Veterans\, active-duty/service members\, military families\, friends\, buddies\, supporters\, volunteers\, and community members. No formal 4VALOR participant application is required for this open community activity. \nMeet: 8:15 AM\nStart: 8:30 AM sharp\nExpected finish: approximately 12:00–12:30 PM \nThis is 4VALOR’s longer year-end challenge hike\, approximately 7.1 miles. Participants should be comfortable hiking for several hours over uneven natural terrain\, including roots\, boardwalks\, and potentially wet areas. \nBring: 2–3 liters of water\, electrolytes\, snacks\, sturdy hiking or trail shoes\, bug spray\, sunscreen\, weather-appropriate moisture-wicking clothing\, a small daypack\, and any personal medications. Trekking poles are optional but useful.
